Nicolas Poussin trained at the School of Titian and Veronese, undoubtedly.
Of all his paintings this is perhaps the most famous. A painting that goes beyond the figurative as a concept even if it remains pleasantly tied to the classical and figurative conception of Art in the realization.
Apollo inspires Virgil in a work dominated by a unique poetic lyricism, which reaches the top of the epic.
