Bernardo Bellotto - New Market Square in Dresden (1747)

A shrewd salesman. Bernardo Bellotto had an uncle, Antonio Canal whom we all know as Canaletto, was very well liked by his uncle who suggested that he sign up as Canaletto for easy access to the market.
He leaves Venice and deals only with views. Find home with Augustus III, great elector of Saxony and king of Poland; he wanted to go to Moscow, called by Catherine II.
It stops earlier, given the economic security offered to it. Catherine II will only have to buy the paintings dedicated to Dresden for a mad sum that will be put on the market following the opening of the hereditary axis of the owner, who is in this painting in the carriage.
